activate strategy to launch with precision

Strategic planning is an essential process to create alignment within an organization, aligning people, processes, and outcomes.  A structured methodology fosters collaboration, synthesizes insights, and builds actionable, prioritized goals.

Strategic Planning Framework

As a change management and communications professional, Alice Grey has helped accounting firms, associations, and organizations of varying sizes develop high-performing and results-driven strategies.  With the understanding that each client has unique working styles, priorities, and goals, Alice Grey customizes each approach within a framework that she uniquely created over the course of a 25-year career.

A successful strategic planning process begins with a deep understanding of the current state and future goals. In this discovery phase, the focus is on gathering insights, preparing key stakeholders for the planning session, and setting the stage for a productive planning session.

The information discovered is then synthesized to help identify themes and create a SWOT analysis. Alice Grey works with the client to create a well-informed agenda to begin the collaboration phase. This phase may include in-person collaboration, a sprint-style meeting, or a series of meetings that build on each other. Each client has unique drivers and timelines that inform how we will collaborate together.

The final phase involves articulating the strategy. In addition to helping frame the strategy, Alice Grey works with clients to identify the right vernacular and style of strategy. As a masterful communicator, she also develops a communications strategy to build awareness and buy-in from the top down in organizations. Just as important as the strategy is the understanding to drive behavioral change.
